FW12 Posted July 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2007 Hello! I was given this patch today. It came out of a Korean-era US Air Force Enlistedman's estate. Nice bullion with a pinkish red border. It doesn't look like anything military, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Any help appreciated! Best, Beau

KurtA Posted July 28, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 28, 2007 Beau- Even for a mint example, value wouldn't be very high as this is a common variation. In mint condition, probably $30- $40 on a good day. The mothing hurts alot - probably around $20 for yours (collectors would rather hold out for a better example). But, value isn't everything. You have a nice old piece of history there. kiaiokalewa Posted July 28, 2007 Share #5 Posted July 28, 2007 Here's another example also Japanese made. Silk cord is used in the JLC monogram rather than plain felt. Kurt is right about the pricing and condition factors. Aloha
CNY Militaria Posted July 28, 2007 Share #6 Posted July 28, 2007 I have been watching these on ebay for a few months now, they are often tough sells at $20, in MINT condition.
Tonomachi Posted July 28, 2007 Share #7 Posted July 28, 2007 Very nice occupation period US Army Japanese Logistical Command patch.Kurt July 28, 2007 My father wore this patch in Kobe, Japan, during the 1950s. He told me that they used to refer to this patch as the Japanese Lumber Company. Dennis
