Here is a web belt that a friend of mine had picked up recently. He's not sure if it is an American web belt, or perhaps foreign (Israeli?), and neither am I. Any ideas as to model and period?

Thanks!!

Chris

Looks like a US M1956 belt to me. They started using the vertical weave after 1966 i think. It also used a ball style buckle instead of the "T" found on WWII belts.
That's my take... but I'm no expert.

I agree, probably an M1956 belt.
