...when this equipment was issued -


Here is a close up of the M1911A1 which is an original 1945 Remington-Rand with General Shaver magazine and a Boyt -45- stamped holster -


Both the M1936 pistol belt and the USMC magazine pouch are 1945 dated as well -


And, here is a well-used USMC KA-BAR fighting knife with the initials "M.M." of the Marine scratched onto the scabbard's face -


Also in the background is a correct 1945 Springfield Armory M1 Garand rifle and a 1945-dated front-seam, swivel bail M1 helmet with a Firestone liner.
