Unknown Wing--Possibly Army Air Corps Reserve Cadet? Winged "C" embroidered

Greetings,

I have encountered a brown twill wool, open-lapel tunic with gilt General Staff buttons with insignia I cannot identify. Above the left breast pocket, there is an embroidered on brown wool half-wing and "C" with brown thread highlights. An identification in the pocket has the flyer's name and "Am. Air Corps Res." Is this, indeed, an Army Air Corps Reserve wing?

 

On both cuffs, the tunic also has embroidered single wings (no "C") on brown wool backings. Any help identifying this insignia would be appreciated!
