Rick the Librarian Posted April 11, 2010 Share #1 Posted April 11, 2010 Had somebody tell me about a Flak vest, circa Iraq War -era they had given to them. My guess is about 2002-2003 era. Classified as "Body Armor, Fragmentation, Protective Vest" made by Isratek. The usual "forest camouflage. Still has the armor sections in it. Maybe excellent condition, but not new. 1) Is it legal to own? 2) Approximate value? 3) Can it be sold? I can post some pictures, if that would help. Bob Hudson Posted April 11, 2010 Share #2 Posted April 11, 2010 You can even sell those on Ebay, that's how legal those are. Value is about $50.
JKin Posted April 11, 2010 Share #3 Posted April 11, 2010 It sounds like you have a PASGT flak vest which came out in 1981ish, and were used by some units up until about 2003. They are legal to own, worth probably $40-50 Id say.
