This home front display I have had for a while. I do not know what organization the banner belonged to. In the lower left is a man's draft notice from WW2 and some miscellaneous homefront stuff.

This is more Nebraska stuff. In the upper right corner is a WW1 USMC service certificate. In the upper left is a wound certificate for a veteran of the 42nd ID in WW1. The middle certificate is named to a wagoneer in the 89th ID in WW1. This was sent to the family upon the wagoneer's being KIA.

Fantastic stuff Bones.
This thread has made me wonder just how many uniforms I have in my collection.
Nowhere near 1000, but as to the exact number, I have no idea.
I'm going to count tomorrow.

Tony,

I found this old post of yours. This is simply amazing! I can't believe how much of a variety you have. Thanks for showing this. Has it grown or evolved since you posted this?.....Kat

I agree with the rest of the guys here !
You got one hell of a collection. Verry nice and well displayed.
I got a question for you, the M1917A1 helmet in the 2nd post I think? With the 101 marking on it, do you know which unit exactly?

Thanks.
Silvano

Last winter I did some soul searching and traded and sold a large grouping of TR items that I really did not have any interest in. I traded for the Springfield Armory 45. I wanted an original but with kids at home that will have to wait. The M1 Garand was found by my brother in law. It seems a guy at his work was going through a divorce and he needed some cash. It is a H & R dated in the 1950's. I traded for the bayonet. Jump boots are repro from GI Kyle.

I also spent this last winter trading patches with alot of members here. I decided I needed to concentrate on my patch collection and get some of the harder to find pieces.
