OUTSTANDING JOB...Living history these days takes alot to impress me anymore but you guys did a fantastic job....There are some serious living history ppl on this forum..

One time my boss handed me my pay check and took it then I walked away..He said "arent you gonna say thank you"?..I asked for what? He replied for that money I just gave you..I replied you didnt GIVE me anything.I earned it.....

I just noticed the Afrika Korp cuff title on the guy on the lefts left arm, 3rd pic down..

Good eyes! The idea came from a 36th vet who actually did the same in Italy and France with a captured cuff title.

Giles...Pass my compliments...Brilliant job, the authenticity is on the small details which you have created superbly...(however, we shy away from modern t-shirts... :rolleyes: )

 

btw...I sent a text as I was going thru Mont Blanc tunnel, but it didn't send, but I didn't I really didn't have time mate...Would love to have dropped by and got some fondue...Elmara thought the Alps where just Awsome!

Where are you guys from? B co 141st 36th is my home unit and i always like to see other people doing 36th. Great pics im intrested though did the vet that told you about the cuff titles say if that was very common or just himself?

Great looking photos DOGFACE ! Where is your unit based out of? I'm with "G Company" (141/36) the official Living History Unit of the Texas Military Forces Museum and the 36th Infantry Division (TX National Guard). We are interested in meeting other units who portray the 36th ID and would love to be in contact with other groups in the US and Europe who are doing so. Our unit, like yours, prides itself on a high level of authenticity and "doing it right". Would be anoxious to hear from you and any other 36th ID Units out there!

Yes, good work. On FB there an Italian group doing 36th ID impressions that is very active and doing photos and videos on the real battle areas.
