Guest h23 Posted July 3, 2007 Share #1 Posted July 3, 2007 My Grandfather passed about 17 years ago, and left me 2 of his WWII Combat knives. They are a little tarnished, but have no rust on them with the original edge (never resharpened). They say Robeson Shuredge on the base of the blade and they are USN Mark 2. I don't plan on selling, just curious to see what they are worth. Here are some pictures: Thank you in advance.
gunbarrel Posted July 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2007 This guard-marked RCC beauty sold here recently for $120. As you can see, it is in mint condition. Maybe you can use that as a bench mark to determine the material value of your heirlooms. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/ind...?showtopic=5367
