CNY Militaria Posted January 2, 2007 Author Share #51 Posted January 2, 2007 Yea, I remember that one. I drove 30 dang miles to buy that advertised "WWII Uniform" at an auction. It does have a lot of "eye candy" though! Justin

Jeeper704 Posted January 2, 2007 Share #60 Posted January 2, 2007 Sorry for my ignorance, but what's the meaning of the same patches being on the chest and on the arm?
Rattle Posted January 2, 2007 Share #61 Posted January 2, 2007 This tradition was started by George Patton when he was commander of this unit. The patch should be where the heart of the man is. The right sleeve is for the unit u where in combat with.

duarte1223 Posted January 3, 2007 Share #66 Posted January 3, 2007 Here's my only armored grouping, named to Harold Eibest. I also have his discharge papers and bronze star document. The strange thing is, his bronze star wasn't awarded until the 1960s. I'm the 2nd person to own this grouping since the family sold it. First up, his medals, patch, and dog tags.
