GIl Sanow Posted October 1, 2016 Share #51 Posted October 1, 2016 Yes, Sommerall was Chief of Staff, but it was years before the badge was adopted. Still, he was allowed to wear it on his post retirement uniform as he is shown here. G

roadrunner Posted September 9, 2017 Share #55 Posted September 9, 2017 This week I received for my collection the 3 inches version for Chief of Staff and former Chiefs of Staff made by BB&B. It's a huge badge that is shown in comparison the the 2 inches version, but you must have it in hand to feel how fantastic it is. It is the center piece of my collection. Michael . Bob Hudson Posted January 29, 2019 Share #63 Posted January 29, 2019 This one has the GEMSCO NY hallmark inside a wreath: it seems to be an less common mark for these, in my experience. This and the General Staff collar insignia came from a 1941 West Point grad.
