FW12 Posted June 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 24, 2007 Today, we were going through my Grandfather's house, cleaning it out of all the items we wanted prior to the estate sale that will be held next month. One of the items that we came across was this painted photo of my Great Great Great Grandfather, William J. Morrison. Morrison was born in 1830 and during the Civil War, was a member of I Company, 56th Infantry Regiment. He was wounded at Fort Donaldson and later died in Atlanta (1862). Thought you might find the photo interesting! Beau

I spent some time going through the attic of my grandparents old house after my mother passed away and I found my Great Great Great Great Grandfathers Civil War discharge. Discovering family history you didnt know about is a cool experience! Kurt
