Hello,

This is my new acquisition. It's a B-3 Jacket made by H. L. B. Corp (NY). It's a very rare transitional B-3 in the very early 1942 pattern.

The size is 44R. And we can see a platename with this name "J. L. Dyrud".

I searched in Nara and I found this : http://aad.archives.gov/aad/record-detail....amp;rid=1355927

He was in the Air Corps (Aviation Cadet).

Justin leroy Dyrud had an plane accident or crash in 1942.

I searched also other informations. I found that Justin is alive in Oregon, he is 90 years old. I found 3 relatives people but I don't know how speak with them.

If a member can help me, I know the name of the 3 relatives people and the phone and adress of Justin Leroy Dyrud

Photos of this B-3 jacket ! :D

Lucky 7th Armored

Beautiful Jacket Pierre, your English isnt that bad!

Do you want to speak with the veteran or his relatives? You might be able to look him up in his local phonebook if they have it online.

Hello Haydn, thanks ! :D

Yes, I want to speak with his relatives or veterans. I spoke wit lots of families whose I have items or uniforms, for example with :

- The daughter of Mike Musura (regimental photographer of 502nd PIR - 101st AB), I have his jacket.

- The son of Robert D Seeley (he was a Glider in the 82nd AB), I have his jacket.

- The son of Eugene E Stish, I have his Flight summer Type A-4.

- The daughter of Gerald R Brewer (8th Air Force), I have his Holster M3 (the memorial that I created with his daughter): http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?p...d=45347613&

- The son of Dale G O'Harra (who is alive, he is 92 years old) he was in the 15th Air Force. I have his Scrapbook.

So I search also for this soldier, it's very interesting speak with the family and know more about these heroes !

I found this in White Pages : http://www.whitepages.com/search/Replay?fa...twitter_count=0

And relatives here : http://www.intelius.com/search-summary-out...mp;focusfirst=1

Thanks again ! :D

Best regards

Pierre
