kyhistorian01 Posted January 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2010 I picked these up today at an antique mall for $4.00. Can anyone tell me more about when they were used? Thanks. Robert

Senator57 Posted January 18, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 18, 2010 I'm wondering if these might be ROTC boards? Based on our cadet rank, we had to cut/pin on the silver braids to our boards. Then we'd pin the boards to the epaulets of a standard service dress uniform. The "McPeak" rank style was used only for a brief time in the early/mid-90's and black boards suggest they're from an earlier timeframe. Just a thought. It's hard to keep track of all the various AF uniforms/styles throughout the years. -Senator57
