Trying to remember how to post pictures here.
Is there anyway to show them in a post from my photobucket??
Or do I have to load them back on the desktop ??
So please hang in there.......

Interesting Inland M1 carbine,
All original with a .U. marked site leaf.
According to Larry Ruth....
War Baby, page 358.... Underwood supplied to Inland the following:
12-28-43 4000 Rear sight leafs
4-3-44 5394 Rear sight leafs
4-3-44 2233 Rear sight assemblys

This carbines serial # 5,061,238, barrel date of 3-44. Pictures show the stock was freshly oiled for picture day !!

Cheers,

Charlie, nice to see and hear from you on this forum  I was on the old jouster carbine forum (shamrocks)
You can post photos direct from photobucket or use links like you did. To post them directly from photobucket ...use the drop down menu beneath the picture you want to post and click once on "img code" to highlight it, and then use right click to "copy" and then "paste"to put it in your post here. hth.

Tom

They're not mine. I posted this picture of these on another forum for a buddy in New Zealand.
A fellow member, who goes by 442nd wrote this about them.......

"They came from Malaysia, German dealer travelled there, paid the complete purchase price for complete m1a1 carbines, stripped off the stocks shipped them back to germany, and left the metal. Started selling a few of the stocks on ebay about 3 years ago. then stopped. all remaining metal (carbines) were then resold (when the dealer did not come back for them with import paperwork) and exported to canada where they were sold off as restricted weapons. I think he my have been a buyer for Frankonia Jagd of Germany and cherry picked the M1a1's on the side for himself."

That's all I know about them, but you have to admit..............THEY CATCH YOUR EYE !!

Cheers,
