Wow TOM. This AN6540-W is a rare variation with o2 snaps. I like a early A-14 Oxygen Mask hook.

Thanks,

Jerry

Nylon AN series flight helmet with added oxygen snaps and WWII boom mike. I originally bought it for the receivers but nylon flight helmets with snaps and mikes are so seldom found that I decided to keep it and display it. The goggles are mint. They look brand new and never worn, it is actually interesting to see and hold a pair that hasn't been used at all (1943 in a box)

Thanks jerry. I am too lazy to put the strap through the helmet retainers :)

Next one is  a nicely named M-450. I have had this one for a while now but I am now displaying it (it was stored in a box) with WWII pilot sunglasses.

I haven't displayed this one yet. That type of helmet with snaps is not all that common and hard to find. Notice the extra thick puffs:

I just bought a total of 12 receivers with their cords so I can now resurrect some of the helmets I had in stock with no receivers attached.

First is an early AN6540  leather helmet with the triple section sides and the small buckles. This one is really hard to come by with the oxygen snaps. I've had it for a long time but until now I did not mange to fit the receivers in the cups. Mission accomplished and it displays really well.

Another one named to Ron Reit. Mike is WWII contracted and i love the row of added snaps on each side. If anyone has any info on a Ron Reit please feel free to share the info :)
