Hello every one. Im new here and this is my first posting. I hope all goes well. Anyway I recently purchased this visor cap among other US items and this one eludes me. Air Force is one guess. But cuold not find anything online. I am also somewhat amatuer about US military items. Would appreciate any help with identifying and possible value. It is in almost perfect condition. Thank you. :)

Hi Jeff,

This is a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) visor cap. As to value, these are a tough sell, I would guess no more than $25-35.

Hi Jeff,
Wow that was fast! Thanks for the info. Civil Air meaning State side?

With the older style strap button on a shade 1084 blue service cap and the later design hat badge, that's going to date this cap from the mid 1950's to the mid 1960's.
