On November 30, 1939 the Soviets invade Finland and bomb Helsinki. The Finnish army is ill-equipped. The Soviets forces are larger and well equipped. In the meantime there was one more important date -- September 17th, 1939, when Soviet Union, as Nazis' partner, invaded Poland. It was "a knife in the Poland's back", as it is called by the historians, and the Polish armed forced were unable to fight effectively on two fronts simultaneously.
