Just got this from my add on Friday, nice untouched fixed bail, when I got it was dirty but I saw the liner was a nice INLAND do to the classic exterior color.
after cleaning just a little the inside I noticed the INLAND stamp was on the reverse and appears was stamped twice.
Is this common or an rare variation

I have seen the double stamp before, but not often. I have never seen the reversed stamp. Nice pick up!

I have seen the reversed stamp on a helmet that did not belong to me. :( Nice find.

I saw the CAPAC cross stamped both ways (forward and backward) one over the other in a black hardwared liner from late WWII. Maybe they saw they stamped it wrong so tried to correct it by making a second stamp. Anyway, really nice lid.
