Juarez Walter Lampl Observer

I obtained two of these, die struck 3.3 inches wide. A third one was also found but I couldn't get my hands on it. They came from NJ, but I was unable to get more information on these. This one did not have fittings on it, but the marks of where the clasp and joint would go are in the proper location for a Juarez. I can only wonder if these were prototypes or Walter just made a few since it was the end of the war and he went back to jewelry production. The second one went to a collector, but did not have the regular Juarez clasp and joint. They were the ones used by most of the other manufacturers.post-1465-1258668091.jpg
