Dark OD M3 TSMG Sling

Dark olive version of the WW2 style M3 TSMG sling...
The parkerised buckles are marked 'NoBuckl' similar to those on the longer WW1 era M1917 Kerr Web Sling. The more common WW2 tan M3 models usually have unmarked blackened brass hardware...

Iannamico states these green slings were made in the 1950s... (American Thunder II, page 366)...

Johan, it's always a pleasure to revisit your collection.  There are so many items that we collectors can only dream of having.  Thank you for your updates.  Merry Christmas to you and your family.  Jack

Great display Johan! It's bitterly cold where I live right now, but nowhere near how bad it was in the Bulge in 1944...I just don't know how they physically survived that terrible cold without the gear and kit that we take for granted these days, like Goretex, fleece lined waterproof boots and gloves and other modern advances in cold weather gear. They truly were the greatest generation and extremely tough!

Merry Christmas Johan!

Rick
