I bought the display heads at www.buystorefixtures.com it is their male mannequin head #7. It can be hard to find, you have to click on "related products" below the picture of another style of head. The price is$27.00 pluse shipping. That is why I only have 3 of them. I have seen them on ebay for about the same price.

Hello all! It has been some time since I last posted. I have added some great stuff to my collection. I also now have an actual room, not just the closet. The only thing my wife asked was to leave the spare bed. I can live with that. Still a desk would fit nicely into that corner. NO must not rock the boat! I got some great avation art and my first "man doll".I hope you like what you see.

DSCN3902R.JPG There is always more to do. This is a nice Memphis Belle print signed by Col. Morgan. I just need to save up the money to get it framed and matted.

DSCN3870R.JPG The plane I added to this display is an 1:48 scale Memphis Belle made by the franklin mint. It is a great model. I also got a P-38 and a P-47, the same scale from the franklin mint series. I have added many paper items to my collection, but do not have them displayed. Thanks for taking the time to look. Any helpfull hints would be great.

You not make the bed up like a 1940s USAAF mans bed ready for inspection??

Great display.

Watch out for the direct sunlight. I learned the hard way that the sun is an icky thing and will fade your stuff.

You can get GREAT (custom-ordered) blinds from Home Depot or Lowes which will block almost all light from the room. The good thing is that they're custom-fit to the window(s), so don't let much around them, either.

GREAT collection, AND display!

Steve

Great collection and display. I agree with Owen, no need to hide the bed, make it up like a wartime bed.
best wishes,
jeff

 I really like everything you have done! Seems like a good little man cave to escape to.

Fortunately, or Unfortunately, depending on your views, I am divorced, so my stuff is spread all over the house. I am even thinking of taking Sgt Rocks bathroom idea and running with it too!

DSCN4088R.JPG The last one for now. This is a great looking uniform. I posted some pictures of it earlier. I can not show his feet yet, but his shoes are "in the mail". Thanks for checking it out! I am having a ball collecting and displaying these items.
