Not sure what category to post this in so thought this as good a place as any!! Here is a set of what I think are 1937 Pattern U.S.M.C. Officer dress EGA's made by Meyer?? I just purchased these today. What do you guys think?

Here is the Hallmark on the other EGA.

those were sold by another forum member on eBay, but I didn't see a Buy It Now. I believe you're right as to era

I purchased these today from http://www.williamsmilitaryrelics.com/ . . . not sure where he got em!!

I was not sure as to the pattern and year since I have seen other example that look just like this set and they have been listed as 1920's or 1929 pattern Officer EGA's but they also look a lot like the 1937 pattern H&H Officer EGA's . . . needless to say I haven't a clue!!

A great set of emblems! What you have are mid-20's emblems. The key ID feature to these emblems, from that era is the hand-tooled stempling of the globe. Posting another picture from our reference section of a mid 20's BB&B collar emblem this photo clearly shows the detailing... Great purchase, these are becoming more and more difficult to acquire in a "matched state" and uniform collectors are always chasing these. s/f Darrell
