doyler Posted April 13, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 13, 2007 Hi Jerry, The patch is the 113th Cavalry group.It is a WW2 patch and was made overseas for them.They hail back to Camp Dodge Iowa,as they were part of the Iowa guard before the war(they are still an active unit in the state).I have several of the patches in my collection and the DIs as well.You will find the DIs both pinback and post with threaded nut.The patch and Di are the same design.Fairly uncommon patch and I believe it is listed in ASMICS top 100 patch list.I recently picked up a group to a 113th CAV vet who was a halftrack driver.His Ike and wool shirt have the patch on them,same as your example.See you at the Minneapolis show.Take Care, RON in IOWA Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
