BEAST Posted April 6, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2007 This is one of my favorite groups. It is a grouping from a cook (note hat and apron) with Section 598 US Army Ambulance Section. This section was one of two raised at Purdue University in 1917. The cook was not a student there, but rather a local. My apologies for the photo of the coat. This was taken at a display I did with the Company of Military Historians. The coat has the boullion rooster SSI and a EM US/ medical collar disk. The cousin of this vet was in the same unit and earned a Croix de Guerre (which I have). If anyone would like more pictures, please let me know. I hope you enjoy this group as much as I do!
