General Apathy Posted April 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 5, 2007 Hi, over the past couple of weeks I have seen various postings by members relating to the Nuremberg War-Trials, I have lost track of these postings and so I have started this one. I have a clear two part plastic cigarette case from the trials, on one side it has reference to the trials and dated 1945, on the otherit has the crest of the 1st Inf. Div, the Big Red One. A packet of cigarettes came with the case, they appear to be very cheap manufacture and packaging, I think they are Polish. No other details with them, except they were from a deceased veterans estate. Cheers ( Lewis )
collectsmedals Posted April 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 6, 2007 I have a case that is just like that. It was my Uncle Al's, he served with the 1st Infantry and was a courtroom and prison guard at Nuremberg. His was empty though, no cigarettes.
