Holloman Posted April 3, 2007 Author Share #2 Posted April 3, 2007 Sorry about the load time for those with bad connections/old computers... I found these old postcards, some used w/ stamps, some completely unused... I bought only these 10, but I plan on buying a lot more. If anyone wants some, I can do a great deal on them. Guest Doc_hoovie Posted April 12, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 12, 2007 I just had a funny story concerning postcards. When my grandfather (USMC 1944-1952) died in 2001, my grandmother was going through his wartime items and found a postcard sent to him by an older brother flying on B-24s in England. It was one of the sort that has about 6 cards to it and folds up, held together by a flap. When grandma opened it up, out fell a pair of thin panties with a note pinned to it that said "once you've been this close you know you've had it!". Wish I could've seen the expression on her face!
