Paul,

Not sure how I missed this, but I have really enjoyed seeing your room and the fantastic displays. You have a super collection.

I have to wonder how the former owners, such as Parr, would have felt to know their things were displayed so beautifully. I imagine they would be pretty impressed and feel very honored. Great job!!

I have to echo Jim here and say that this is one class collection. And the room......oh you lucky devil! I have to think that all of these fine men would be very honored and pleased to see their items displayed with such class and honor. Very, very nice indeed. Congrats on the room......and what is in it! Very nice to say the least!

Thanks for the great comments. As for the room, its my portion of the basement. While looking for a bigger house, last year, my only need was a bigger basement for my stuff. My lovely wife would check out the house and I would head to the basement to see how big it was and what needed to be done to it. When I walked into this house I knew it was the one I wanted, and we ended up getting a great house with my future gem waiting to be spit shined up. I have most of my WW2 stuff out and like I said I am taking my time putting it together the way I have always wanted. Paul

My buddy Kyle stopped by to add a few more items to his display. This is him with his full size action figure. Kyle has been very generous and given me basicly everything I needed for the set up. I'm glad you enjoyed the trip down..Paul

Been busy the past few days, I bought 4 more Ikea display cases which display groupings well. I have also added maps and photos to the walls.. Enjoy Paul

All I can say is wow!! Excellent collection and what a job displaying it!

What do you think of those IKEA cases? They seem to be reasonably priced, I've been tempted to buy a couple.

THe cases work out great and if you have a small grouping you can lay it out nicely on a shelf and it looks great.. Thanks for the reply..Paul

Awesome. I'd love to have some boots on my mannequin, but mine has a steel rod on the bottom to to hold it to the plate. If I were to put boots on mine, I'd have to cut tyhe boots down the back and I'm not about to do that! How did you put the boots on yours? Thanks!

I usually don't even bother with the stands and once boots are on them they stand on there own, but to make sure they don't go tumbling down I usually prop them agains the wall so they are slightly leaning back. The OIF guy in the middle is cobbled together from various mannequins to form a not so "happy" pose. When I have the AT-4 trainer on it, it counter balances it and stands on it;s own,, Paul
