hhbooker2 Posted April 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 9, 2009 "Greetings & Salutations!" I came accross a website: http://www.memory.loc.gov/ and found tens of thousands of photographs from the United States Army Signal Corps from 1917 to 1945. They must be seen to better understand how things looked in our military in two world wars through the eyes of the camera. Such young faces so often, those surviving today are remembered through their images presented here, we salute the brave men and women, both military and civilians who volunteered their time and often their very lives. God Bless Our Troops! Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ([email protected]) [The first image is of two members of the 66th Fighter Squadron. The second picture shows an airman loading machinegun belts of of ammunition into an ammo can for a fighter plane.]
