Baker502 Posted February 1, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 1, 2009 I was fortunate enough to pick this up off another forum. It was purchased with some 101st stuff at a auction. The buyer was after the 101st stuff and sold this off. It is not from the 101st troopers father so I think it might be his father in law's stuff. Either way I have it narrowed down to about 6 observers who were with the squadron for both of the campaigns. I have been tracking a ID'd squadron pin for some time and this really fell into my lap. Besides it being a observation squadron it has a 101st airborne connection, the grouping that conects my 2 collecting fields. I hope you enjoy it was much as I do..Paul

Baker502 Posted February 2, 2009 Author Share #14 Posted February 2, 2009 Yes they flew the Sal 2a2. I too have Daschunds and they were a bit nervous that this talisman was let in the house. They always look up before the venture outside. Paul
