With a lot of us spending a lot more time at home, now's a good time to take a look at some of the virtual tours that are out there.

Many museums do not like to post their collections on line. Apparently there is some misguided belief that if they do, people won't be inspired to visit.

I personally think the opposite is true. The better feel I have for a museum, the more likely I am to add it to my travel plans.

To kick this thread off, I will start with my all time favorite: The National Museum of the United States Air Force, or more simply, the USAF Museum.

You can literally spend hours winding your way through the museum through this website.

Please post your favorites, along with a photo or two if you have them. Also appropriate here are tour videos, such as from our member James127, or websites that provide extensive photos and lists of their exhibits and displays!

My favorites are the National Naval Aviation Museum, Airborne and Special Forces Museum in Fayettville, and the Marine Corps Museum. All of them are free admission. Here's a picture from the Naval Aviation Museum of a Dauntless that was in Pearl Harbor on Dec 7th and fought at the Battle of Midway.
