easterneagle87 Posted March 16, 2020 Share #1 Posted March 16, 2020 Got this in a grouping of correspondance from Mr. Pettit to Gen Eisenhower. There is a letter signed by Joe Collins Another Signed by Ike himself, but need to get it verified as a "wet" signature All letters are 1948 to 1952 Another to Ike was to tell him "Columbia's gain is our loss". It goes on to mention he was in 50th Signal Bn, VII Corps under Gen Collins Is the D-D letter original? It was all folded up like it had been carried for a long time. Red Devil Posted March 16, 2020 Share #2 Posted March 16, 2020 From what I'm seeing, it does appear to be consistent with an original.
