Top one is a US Army Distinctive Unit Insignia for, I believe, the Observation Squadron of the NJ National Guard. I cannot recall the unit number. The bottom is an Army officer's Branch of Service device for the 611th Coast Artillery. Both look to be from the pre-WW2 era.
