Unknown WWII screw Back DUI . Can anyone identify?

Thanks for the info. I had a hard time trying to find the lineage. If you look at my other posts you can see that it belonged to a Captain who was once an EM with the 101st NY Cavalry. It was a grouping that I found at a local coin shop. The posts started because he was awarded an Air Medal during WWII and I was inquiring why a Cavalry Officer would be awarded an Air Medal

Whenever i see a WWII Cavalryman with an air medal I usually suspect observation flights in an L-4 Grasshopper. I knew a lieutenant who was in the 100th Reconnaissance Troop (100th Division) and that's how he was awarded an air medal.
