Lets see all of your camo M1 lids. Here is my one and only. It is a fixed bail Schlueter with a 2nd Lt "butter bar" and 1st pattern Hawley liner. Has the last name of Horner written on the inside of the liner.

Wow Robinb! Your 7th NBB helmet is awsome. Do you have any more pics, is the liner aslso marked? Any history to go with this one? Great helmet. Thanks for showing it. I also have a 7thNBB helmet.

Yes, the liner is painted to match the pot. Also, it's named to A.O.Hanson, but I never researched it. I found it at a local militaria shop 15 years ago for $20.

Nice camo Justin. Do you think WWII or VN?

Thanks, I'm not sure, what do you think?

Also forgot, these markings are on both sides

Sorry for bad pictures, they were taken last year when I got the camera, and since then, the camera isn't working to well

From the checkered pattern I was going to say WWII, but now the stripes on the sides left me puzzled.

Great helmets everybody. I for myself don't own a camo helmet, just this camo liner worn on Guadalcanal.

Had this liner for almost 15 years. The white wash is very yellowed...camera flash makes it look bright white.

Here's a nice one for you. It is a front seam swivel bail with a nice CAPAC lliner. Unfortunated it is missing it's straps. The camo is a subtle overspray of browns. I hope you enjoy.

Here's mine. I found this in a thrift shop years ago. A fixed bail with a sprayed tan camo. It's too weathered out to tell exactly what the darker color is.

Wow there are some really nice camo helmets posted here!!! Here is another to add. I have seen pictures of helmets with this style camo referred to as Pacific theater camo. The helmet shows a lot of wear but has a fairly nice Westinghouse line and has all its straps in tact.

And here is one more! This one is a front seam M1C. The liner is a rigger modified MSA liner with a 508th RCT decal on it so, I am assuming it is Korean war reissue. The chin strap is the web one with four holes. The cammo is a mix of black, some tans and a different shade of green; quite the hodge podge. I hope you enjoy.

Better view of the side. Sadly no straps, easily replaceable but this is how it came to me.

Actually whoa. I just remembered I have this one. It has some type of white wash for winter camo or perhaps reactive chemical paint as he was in the Chemical Corps. He is listed on the WW2 Memorial in DC. Then two other coats. It was re-strapped and reissued for Vietnam era and has another soldiers number in it I cant make out.
