kwc271 Posted January 26, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 26, 2020 Hello all, I acquired a small grouping of an individual who lived in my county who was killed in Italy during WWII. In the grouping is a letter from the chaplain telling exactly what happened, how he died, etc. There is also a local newspaper clipping, condolence card from General Marshal, letters home, and a photograph of the soldier. I obtained this from an antique dealer I knew that had it in a bunch of stuff that the family was getting rid of. It is hard for mr to fathom why folks would discard such things. I would love to post pics but I am unable to due to being on an I-pad. Unless someone knows how to do it from such a device. I may be able to email the pics to someone and have them posted. This person was in the 34th division, 133rd infantry regiment.
