scottplen Posted January 25, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2020 Finally acquired a Tough Ombré Purple Heart ! Very honored to be the caretaker of this brave mans memory . Killed fighting in Selters Germany on March 29 1945 as part of 359th RCT assigned to 4th armored as a combat team. I have found some research he was Swedish American from Chicago . A member of nebo Lutheran Church baptized there in 1926 . Not sure when he joined the 90th ?

kristoffer Posted January 27, 2020 Share #6 Posted January 27, 2020 Very nice PH. I hope you will be able to find out more about him. For me it's interesting to see the connection to Sweden.
