Silvio Posted January 17, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 17, 2020 Hi all, Here is a M1875 sword made by E.u.F.Horster Original Eickhorn Solingen Germany. I think its a limited edition. I do not know how many are made but this one has a low Serial number 36 This model is mainly used by the USMC but on this sword the etching is Representing/honoring all branches of the United States. Should be a great piece for veterans or servicemen Thank you for watching.

Silvio Posted January 17, 2020 Author Share #8 Posted January 17, 2020 Thank you guys, What i also noticed is there is no importers name so i think its sold straight from Germany ?
Paulruss Posted January 18, 2020 Share #9 Posted January 18, 2020 The two maker marks are interesting, Separate makers on the same blade. Don't think importers name is required.
Silvio Posted January 19, 2020 Author Share #10 Posted January 19, 2020 I think eickhorn is in this case the distributor. Never saw the two companys markings together on one blade btw. Thank you
Ray Helbing Posted April 22, 2023 Share #11 Posted April 22, 2023 I have another of this rare M1875 sword made by E.u.F.Horster Original Eickhorn Solingen Germany. This is a limited edition of 99 pieces. I bought it from an american soldier nearly 25 years ago in Kaiserlautern/Germany. It is the only one produced by the german leading sword makers in Solingen. Ray Helbing Posted May 2, 2023 Share #12 Posted May 2, 2023 My sword is marked with the limitation number 07. That confirms that the maximum edition could be not more than 99 pieces.
