hirsca Posted January 11, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 11, 2020 This is a very long shot if it is military. On line search was unsuccessful. Unmarked. Any ideas? Thanks, Al

hirsca Posted January 11, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted January 11, 2020 Interesting thought. While looking up online, I did come across a list that showed the initials for Mount Sinai Hospital. Will we see you next weekent at Dallas Market Hall? Thanks, Al

3mxd Posted January 23, 2020 Share #6 Posted January 23, 2020 It's actually the collar brass for uniforms worn by students at Mount Sacred Heart, a Catholic boys school (1940-87, now it's co-ed) in San Antonio, Texas. The school has a web site with more information if you're interested. The standard collar brass consisted of the "M.S.H." and Infantry branch. I was a student there from 1952 to 1960 and still have one set of my collar brass and a SSI. According to the school's web site, students still wear uniforms but, judging from the images on the school's website and the web site of their uniform supplier, there is no longer any collar insignia or rank.
