John4022 Posted January 10, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 10, 2020 Hi everyone, I wanted to share my first patch pickup of 2020. This patch has a beautiful design in hand so I hope my photos do it justice. No SOS for me this year so at least I wont feel left out! Happy Collecting! -John

John4022 Posted January 10, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted January 10, 2020 Thank you Steve! There were two different patch lots on eBay that had these mortar patches. The other patch had some minor nips on the outside black border so I went with the other lot. And they both sold at the same price, here's links to the lots. -https://www.ebay.com/itm/15-Vintage-Military-Patches-Army-Navy-Marines-1900-039-s-1980-039-s-WWII-WW2-amp-More-/202866157721?nma=true&si=8CM6QtEzS%252FMClShaqmHAzRG7lf0%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 -https://www.ebay.com/itm/16-Vintage-Military-Patches-Army-Navy-Marines-1900-039-s-1980-039-s-WWII-WW2-amp-More-/202866060178?hash=item2f3bc26b92%3Ag%3AjS8AAOSwSgFeCnii&nma=true&si=8CM6QtEzS%252FMClShaqmHAzRG7lf0%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

John4022 Posted January 13, 2020 Author Share #16 Posted January 13, 2020 It looks like the other patch is now up on eBay with a envelope. I'll ask if the seller if the patch came with the envelope. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-WWII-Named-US-Army-100th-Chemical-Mortar-Bn-Italian-Made-Bullion-Patch/362880279526

Looking to see if anyone has any living relatives of the 100th Chem mortar battalion.
