Tesla Posted January 10, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 10, 2020 I have the AE Co clutchback version of this wing and it's identical in size and finish. This one has sterling clutches and has very defined die cut edges. The weight of the wings seem the same as well, but i really need to get a scale to be sure. ( I know AECo produced Lux wings under contract) This is first Luxenburg wing for me!

Tonomachi Posted January 10, 2020 Share #3 Posted January 10, 2020 Great pick up as I'm guessing this was the same one a number of people were bidding for on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/WWII-STERLING-SILVER-COMBAT-GLIDER-PILOT-WINGS-PIN-3-U-S-AIR-FORCE-/392608862904?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=hwnS11SaroI6ojNaci%252FitVP5eL0%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

WWIIinterviews Posted January 10, 2020 Share #6 Posted January 10, 2020 Great set of wings! Does the clutchback mean they were produced towards the end of the war?
