TCSchultz Posted December 30, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 30, 2019 I picked this ring up off of Ebay listed as a 32nd Armored Regiment of the 3rd Armored Division item and put it with a pinback DI from Meyer for the 32nd Armored Regiment along with a 3rd Armored Division patch with a postwar Spearhead tab attached to make this grouping. The seller didn't note that this is the Tank Regiment that Adam Makos wrote of in his book "Spearhead: An American Tank Gunner, His Enemy and a Collision of Lives in World War II" about Clarence Smoyer so it's unlikely it was made recently to take advantage of that book coming out. It's worn inside but you can make out a single marking of "900" for content inside and fits me perfectly so I'm happy with it which is all that matters anyways.
