Croix de Guerre Fourragere Question

Some units wear the Croix de Guerre Fourragere. My question . . . is there a difference in the style/look of the actual fourragere from French to US? I assume they can be made in the US, but regardless of manufacturing country . . . do they look the same?

Thanks! Hope I am not too unclear there!

I assume that french manufactured fourragères are different from the US made ones but I can't tell you the difference since I have never seen a US made fourragère.

They will vary some what Elizabeth. Go through these two big topic to see various time periods and styles, the main ones you will see that differs from say a U.S. Made seen today and from the 50s on one will be one where a trefoil on the rear, and two additional cords draped over the top of the sleeve where the shoulder patch, is if seen these will be French made.
