The Rooster Posted December 11, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 11, 2019 I was fortunate to pick this one up. Its the latest in stealth technology incorporated into a helmet. The government suggests keeping a dummy cord attached to it and have provided an attachment point for the cord. It has the NVG Mount and IR tech and TBI monitor. Ive been trying all night to get a shot of it but as I was setting it on the styrofoam head, I accidentally hit the stealh mode button and now I cant find it to turn it off so this picture will have to suffice.. Strangley enough it casts a shadow???? Il have to wait until the battery dies down to get more pics. Thanks!

Flightpath Posted December 11, 2019 Share #5 Posted December 11, 2019 Wow, pretty rare helmet, the project was cancelled because once removed, the troops testing them couldn't find them if they forgot the cord. The R&D dep. tried everything to fix the problem, in the end they sprayed them with camo paint so they were easier to see! Yours is one of the original non painted ones.
