Beauregard for sale Life-size wax figure bought from the Gettysburg American Civil War Wax Museum's sale in 2014. Standing figure with support depicting General Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard. In reproduction Confederate uniform. Opened in 1952, the American Civil War Wax Museum once had more than 300 life-size wax figures and 35 scenes of Civil War life. More than 100 of the figures were sol dprior to the museum's closing in 2014. Pierre Gustave Toutant-Beauregard (May 28, 1818 – February 20, 1893) was an American military officer who was the first prominent general of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.
