Hi all,

Was able to pick this grouping up recently off of ebay. Was being split up, but was able to keep most of it together. Belonged to a Wisconsin native. A nice typical late war set up ike jacket, with a really cool khaki shirt that is tailored to an ike styled garment. Was able to get his paperwork as well, and his personalized souvenir Japanese flag with where he served.

Thanks guys! I've seen a few various uniforms with the Independence ribbon but not really sure how it got issued to so many who didn't actually qualify for it. Probably the post war confusion with ribbon regs.

BILL THE PATCH

Awesome group. Love the Philippine independence ribbon on his rack. Only seen that before with 511 troopers

188th had them to, my dad has one.
