This uniform belonged to William J H.a.r.v.e.y, he served in L Company, 35th Infantry Regiment. He was sent to Hawaii almost a year before the attack. He was present in Schofield Barracks when the attack was launched. He then served on Guadalcanal, where he was wounded, and then New Georgia. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Combat Infantry Badge. After New Georgia he was sent back and stationed at Fort Oglethorpe.
