Phantomf4 Posted November 27, 2019 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2019 Is this military or a contractor piece?
ocsfollowme Posted November 27, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2019 There are two variations of this patch. Both from Vietnam. This is a newer make of it. There is a thread on the forum on this.

Randy Posted November 28, 2019 Share #7 Posted November 28, 2019 There's also an old "sleeper" version that has Wife instead of Life on the bottom line from back in the 60s-70s. These days, that will get you a quick Article 15 or worse... Here's two regular variations. Randy

mohawkALSE Posted December 1, 2019 Share #9 Posted December 1, 2019 Being the subdued color it was probably from the 80s-90s or a little further til the end of BDUs. Also still referred to as Life Support Equipment, which alot of guys and old timers still use but officially now in the USAF its known as AFE Aircrew or Aircraft Flight Equipment. Army still uses the term ALSE for Aviation Life Support Equipment. Cool patch
