Because you don't show the whole trousers. Just bit and pieces. Like buying a car when they only show the tires and bumper.

You're a respected member, but that's a little harsh, knowledge is power.

These are all the pictures I have as the trousers is being offered to me as a trade, as said in my first message. I think they are centered on the key parts to assess the originality of the reinforcements

Thank you for spending time in giving your opinion on the trousers and on the pictures

I think what folks are saying is have a look through old threads and other information you can find easily and try and come up with your own solution.

Did you look at the link i sent? There are some key indicators as to whether items are real or not.

That is a good place to start. Here are some more.

Hello,

I have read all the posts with the key word "reinforced" on the forum as well as reviewed in depth all the pictures in the book heroes in our midst.

Usually I try not to ask obvious questions and do my own homework

Easy502 told me that the thread and canvas used are not matching what should be expected on a genuine reinforcment.I must say that I, for one, tend to like the canvas but I wanted to have opinion on the thread and stitchings.

If I am asking the question it is because I want to have some other opinions, not to be told that I should read more

OK then, I was just trying to offer a solution, I meant no offence.

You may have read the forum and those books, but have you looked at trigger time forum or all the bando books or his website?

At the very least you've got a pair of jump pants to go with the jump coat you found a few years back

Like I posted I think they are good
However brooks bush was a master of adding canvas to original m42 jump sets since the 1980s
And making rigger items etc
Caution always and better pictures always
