Tonomachi Posted November 23, 2019 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2019 I saw this at the flea market this morning but I understand that there are paint ball type copies of these Kevlar helmets out on the market so I passed. I haven't handled a lot of Kevlar helmets to determine if it was real based on weight alone. I was wondering if anyone can tell from these photos if this was a real helmet or a copy. There is an empty hole drilled in the center front of the helmet for I'm guessing the night vision bracket.

manayunkman Posted November 23, 2019 Share #3 Posted November 23, 2019 Looks like an ACH but the sticker is missing. That looks like a 100.00 helmet at least.

NBusk Posted November 23, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 23, 2019 Interesting. I've never seen velcro applied to the interior of an ACH like that before.

Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted November 24, 2019 Share #7 Posted November 24, 2019 Looks like a real helmet base, but with very bizarre non-factory Velcro, an incomplete and cobbled together set of pads with improper placement, and a brand new paint job, I'm almost certain this was an airsofter's helmet. What is interesting through is that velcro on the interior. Never seen one with that setup before.
