I am still searching for more info on this army surgeon. When I first got the grouping a few months ago I did find a little on him and the evacuation hospital that he served with in Normandy. I can't seem to find that site again. Anyway, his name is Kenneth G. Burton, serial # 1696206 from Rhode Island. My favorite piece is the note and of course the uniform removed Bevo GVB cuff title. Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. I love "salty" pieces and the GVB title has some dirt staining and threads hanging out. I hope I can learn a little more about the surgeon.

Thank you! I just love the note with it. Wondering when the vet actually wrote that note. Was the term pjs wartime or a later slang?
